Robert Hume was a Scottish male who spent most of his painting career based in Edinburgh. He mostly used watercolours to paint with, which suited his painting of landscapes.
he first exhibited in London in 1891, and was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy and the Suffolk Street Gallery, as well as with the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour.
