**SOLD** Original 1830's Chinese Provincial Elm Occasional / Hall Table, Stunning Example

Made in the 1820's / 1830's, this solid Elm table is completely elegant in its design, with charming, simple joints, and naive assembly.
The top, like the rest of the table, is made from Elm, and features single slab, enveloped with further elm planks, all of which show their age, with notches and losses, throughout, and featuring the tops of the mortise and tennon joints, used to join the top to the legs.
Below, these four legs are of cylindrical form, and are united with cross-stretchers for added strength, below a hand carved, stepped apron, which runs down either length of the item.
A perfect size for a hallway, this table looks divine with ornaments, and is a good, usable height.

Each pair of legs united by the bottom tier, and an inlaid fretwork panel.
There are possible ties to exhibitions held in Paris and/or Germany, which can be made with the labels present on the item.

This piece of furniture is a marriage of two different items of furniture. The base has been cut down to its new height, and the top salvaged from a separate table, to be married to the current base.
This is a stunning piece of furniture, one which would be very hard to come by again.

A Late 17th Century Elm and Pine Tavern / Trestle Table, with Single Drawer
The thick set top of four plank construction, biscuit jointed together, raised above a single sliding drawer, accessible from either side, fitted with a single drop hoop handle, and raised above two trestle end supports, joined by stretcher rails with pegged through tenon joints.
The table shows a stunning colour and patina, with age related wear throughout, adding to its rustic charm.

The mirrored peach glass octagonal top with its bevelled edge, leads to the mosaic apron, with each side featuring 19 individual pieces.
The top raised on the single central circular column, surmounted with applied peach glass pieces throughout, terminating on an octagonal base. The top with eight triangular shaped bevelled mirror plates, leading to the foot, with each side fitted with 12 individual pieces of mirror.

There is tarnishing to some of the mirrors along with some losses, and minor scratches to the top, as to be expected with something of this material and period.

The base, completely wrapped in further mirrored peach glass, featuring a single column square column tapering outwards towards a smaller, more shear angled strip of mirror, before terminating on a walnut veneered shaped foot.
