Winchcombe Pottery; A Small Quantity of Pots
This grouping consists of a pair of Beakers and a pair of Soup Bowls.
One of the soup bowls is covered with a yellow mottled glaze, but sadly lacking the lid. The other soup bowl is decorated with a more recognisable Winchcombe yellow and brown glaze, with a hand painted decorated lid. The latter being earthenware and the other being a stoneware.
The beakers are both earthenware and both have a similar quintessential Winchcombe designs, the bottom half is a brown glaze, switching to a yellow glaze to towards the top of the beakers, also decorated with a wave decoration.
Each are stamped to the base with the Winchcombe mark.
