A Brass and Aluminium set of Noughts and Crosses, made by David Marshall.
The aluminium board with a milled grid, and fitted with a brass edge around the perimeter, with the handles founded in the same piece of brass.
Each playing piece is made also from brass, including three balls with conical stems, and three crosses, also with conical stems, representing the Noughts and Crosses respectively.
The makers mark is present to the aluminium board, in one of the outer edge squares.
Each piece has imperfections from the production process, part of the iconic style of Marshall's work.
