An Inlaid Moorish / Damascus Occasional Table
The hexagonal top with profusely inlaid, with a central star, surrounded by six hexagons, further surrounded by diamonds and trapezoids, flanked with a continual band of Kaleidoscope type designs, surrounded further with 6 panels and edging polygons, finalising with intricate lifework inlay to the edge, inlaid with Amboyna, Boxwood, Bone, Mother of Pearl and Mahogany, flanked with further inlay on the shaped apron, which itself in inlaid with stars and other geometric patterns.
The top above a tripod base, the supporting arms with central inlaid cartouche and further inlay to the edges, flanked with Amboyna, and terminating with turned finials.
The central column also with intricate inlay to each side, and raised on three shaped feet.
