This is a large oak sideboard in the Arts & Crafts manner. The thick dentil moulded top over an arrangement of one single drawer and four cupboard doors. The central drawer set on an unusual single dovetail runner to either side and fitted with drop loop handles over diamond shaped plates, above two panelled cupboard doors, the left of which with a charming naive latch, opening to reveal a large open storage area. Flanking the central arrangement are two large cupboard doors, each fitted with two highly decorative and unusual five point hinges, featuring engraved details around their exterior, each opening to reveal a single shelf. The four square sturdy supports raise the sideboard to a useful height.
