A Late 18th Century and Later German Inlaid Walnut Cabinet on Stand
The moulded scooped cornice above two large cupboard doors, each inlaid with marquetry stars comprising of Ebony and another Specimen wood, the right hand door fitted with an impressive, shaped lock escutcheon, opening to reveal William Morris style floral lining paper, and two shelves above an arrangement of 10 drawers and a single central cupboard door.
The drawers each with walnut cross banding, and fitted with drop loop handles (One Lacking), and the cupboard door, with a shield shaped lock escutcheon, also inlaid with a marquetry star offset to feel more like a spiral, and featuring opening to reveal 6 pigeon holes.
Seated on a stand fitted with a single frieze drawer, fitted with further drop loop handles, raised on four tapering turned legs with knopped detail, united via a moulded edge X Shaped cross stretcher, the centre of which inlaid with a further marquetry star
