The oblong top above two flame cut shallow drawers, the upper drawer with green baize lining, the lower drawer of wedge shape, fitted with gilt tooled green leather writing slope, pen tray and a pair of square ink bottle holders, fitted with brass drop handles and set above a tapering, panelled column, and raised on an inverted quatrefoil platform base with square scroll feet
