17th Century Oak Panelled Coffer with Carved Decoration
The twin panelled hinged lid above a rectangular carcass, lifting to reveal a large storage space.
The front heavily carved, the top cross brace with horizontal shaped decoration, ebbing out from the centre, above two recessed panels, each with matching stylised floral decoration, flanking a central vertical carved pillar, all raised above a single long base drawer, the twin panel front, each with moulded edge, fitted with drop handles, terminating on square block legs.
