Victorian Rosewood, Satinwood, Birds Eye Maple and Kingwood Library Table
The rectangular top with marquetry and parquetry inlay and moulded edge, consisting of an ebonised edge, around rosewood cross banding, and further Kingwood cross banding. The centre section with birds eye maple parquetry surrounding satinwood floral marquetry inlay within rosewood quadrants.
Below the top is a pair of frieze drawers to one side, each with raised beading to the bottom edge.
Raised on a par of unusual arms with knops, over Lyre shaped supports to either side, the bases with Gillows type beading, centrally united via a par of wonderful barley twist cross-stretchers, terminating on a rounded support over turned feet and brass castors.
